Working with ChatGPT and Codex teaches teams to define useful tasks, keep project records current, review the results, and continue work across sessions. Each participant follows guidance suited to the tools their organization permits.

Why a documented workflow matters
Real projects span days, files, and conversations. A documented workflow gives your team a consistent way to define the task, provide current sources, review the result, and resume work in a later session.
Continuity you can hand off
A reviewed handoff records completed work, decisions, checks, and the next task. A teammate or a fresh session can use those records to resume the project and verify that it has the current version.
Effort matched to stakes
Match the level of checking to the consequences of the work: a brief review for an exploratory draft, documented verification and human approval for material that will be published or acted on.
A workflow you reuse
Use a consistent procedure across projects: define the outcome, confirm access, provide context, review the result, and save a handoff. Reuse approved instructions and templates as your team gains experience.
The program
What this module is
Working with ChatGPT and Codex is a hands-on course in using OpenAI tools across multi-session projects. Participants leave with a personalized starter kit, project instructions, context records, a handoff template, and a report of their own project decisions.
Nine sections combine explanations, practical responses, and self-checks. Allow about 60 minutes, plus time to test the workflow on an approved project.
Inclusive AI Strategies adapts the module to your organization’s AI policies, governance expectations, and project requirements. Participants choose which capabilities are approved: local applications, uploads, connected apps, skills, and scheduled work. Browser-only and manual alternatives are included in the same module.
Deliver the module through Canvas or Moodle, with saved progress and completion reporting, or run a facilitated workshop using a workshop code. Each participant keeps an individual record.
Your working environment
One module for different access levels
Your organization may allow local Codex applications, browser-based ChatGPT, selected connected services, or manual transfers of approved text. The workflow follows those restrictions and keeps human review and current project records part of every pathway.
You can revise your choices as your available tools change. Your activity responses and completed self-checks remain in the same participant record.
